Gratitude Journal

I have recently started to read Magic by Rhonda Byrne - and have began my Gratitute Journal.

In her book The Magic, Rhonda Byrne encourages her reader to keep a journal and each day to write 10 things we are grateful for. This practice bolsters the positive changes in our life and I have decided to try it. Plus, it is always a wonderful experience to think of the things I am grateful for. It makes me feel very lucky and happy when I think of all those people, things and events that I am grateful for.

Some of the things I am grateful for are very personal and I will not be posting them here, however each day I will post a couple of things that made my list that day.

December 18, 2013

Just two and half days and my Hubby and I will be traveling to Europe to spend these Holidays! We cannot wait and I am so grateful for this wonderful vacation that my wonderful Hubby planned for us! Will be posting photos when we will get back

I am so grateful for this holiday season, my Mom is visiting and we have been exchanging presents and playing games. It has been wonderful and we will have a few more days when we get back from Europe to see Mom and enjoy her company.

I am grateful for all of the wonderful gifts that people have given us, we have celebrated Christmas early with the family and have already exchanged presents with them.

I am also grateful for the wonderful, warm and sunny weather we have been having!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

Thank you!

December 11, 2013

I have been neglectful of my gratitude journal, although I have been feeling a lot of gratitude lately for all of the wonderful things in my life, but failing to put it down on paper.

I am very grateful for my ability to write, I enjoy it very much and it appears that so do other people who read my blog and who will, hopefully soon, be reading my book.

I am very grateful for my Mom’s visit this week. It will be great to see her and I have so much to talk to her about and things to show her around here, It will be nice to go to La Jolla beach again and all the other places we used to go when she lived here. I am also very grateful that she will take care of Tink while we are gone to Europe. Which brings me to one of the greatest things I am super grateful for – our upcoming vacation to Europe. It is so hard for me to believe that we are going. And going for three weeks to so many wonderful and amazing places. I LOVE it J Thank you Thank you Thank you!!

I am very grateful for easy travel and being able to sleep on the plane. I am very grateful for finding the holistic jet lag medicine. I believe our trip will be amazing.

I am so grateful for my wonderful and amazing Husband, he has been so wonderful and supportive.

I am also grateful for all of the people that read my blog and visit my Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest pages. Its exciting to share things that others appreciate and find interesting.

I am very grateful for the weather becoming nice and warm again since my Mom has been really wishing to be able to go swimming while here in San Diego.

I am grateful for Tommy planning all of the parts of our vacation making it easy for us to get from one place to another and purchasing all of the tickets ahead of time so we don’t have to worry about anything during our vacation.

I am very grateful for Tinky being so healthy and happy and acting like a little puppy in his 11 year of life. He is such a little happiness to have around and keeps me the best company I can ask for.

I am grateful that our birds stopped fighting and Zeus starting to sing (finally, I thought he was a mute bird). Its nice to see them getting along and enjoying each other’s company. Makes me feel so much better when we have to leave them alone for a couple of days.

September 26, 2013

I have to say, I have been pretty bad about keeping up with my gratitute journal, and I am trying to be better about it, because I feel so much better when I do. It is such a simple thing, but in this moment of my life, a transition, I find it very helpful and motivating to keep it.

I am very grateful for all the help and support of my Husband, he is truly amazing and I am grateful for him each and every moment.

I am very grateful for all the trips we have planned and all that we are planning; it is a very exciting time now and there is so many wonderful things that are coming our way.

I am very grateful for my Mom and the recent changes that make our relationship even stronger. We are both growing as people and its a great thing.

I am so grateful for my Mom being happy and finding a good place for herself, where she can feel productive and do something good for herself and others.

I am so grateful for my Mother in law, she is so wonderful, kind and selfless. I am lucky to have her in my life.

I am very grateful for all the wonderful experiences we had in West Virginia, Michigan and Canada. It was so much fun and so relaxing to be by the lake each day.

August 21, 2013

I am very grateful for being almost done with the first draft of my book, there is still a lot of work to do, but it will feel wonderful to have it ready.

I am so grateful for Tommy planning a wonderful anniversary weekend, I loved every moment of it.

I am so grateful for gaining more and more health each day, it feels so wonderful!

August 14, 2013

I am grateful for all of the love and support that surrounds me. From my family, friends and pets.

I am very grateful that Tommy is having an office week and I get to spend time with him home.

I am very grateful for having very pretty places to walk next to our house.

August 13, 2013

I am grateful for music, different kinds of music, music that helps me to relax, to feel more energized, to help me work out. Music that inspires. It is so wonderful to have music. Some of which is just the song of a solo bird outside my window but it makes me feel happier.

I am grateful for my family, it is so nice to know that there is someone who will always understand and appreciate you.

I am grateful for all the helpful people, they are the ones that make our lives better.

August 12, 2013

I am so grateful for Tommy’s upcoming work schedule that will allow him to be home for dinner next couple of weeks instead of being away and staying in the hotels.

I am very grateful for Tommy’s Mom for saving all kinds of things from our wedding and giving those to use before our first anniversary. It was wonderful to remember all the little things that we had during our wedding. It was such a happy day.

I am so grateful for the modern technology, being able to talk to someone across the world at the click of a mouth will never stop amaze me.

August 8, 2013

I am so thankful for discovering new things everyday. It’s been a great treat to be able to write and learn things each and everyday.

I am thankful for being able to get closer to my goal of being able to help people.

I am so thankful for Tommy’s new territory and less travel. SOOOOO thankful!!

I am very grateful my education and experience. They have taught me many wonderful things without which my life wouldn’t have been the same.

I am grateful for all the abundance in my life: love, happiness, relationships, interesting things, discoveries, money, new opportunities.

I am so grateful for all the people who have wrote books and compiled their knowledge in a way that it is accessible to all of us who came after them. It is so amazing how much knowledge is available to us simply at a click of a mouse or buying or checking a book out from the local library.

August 6, 2013

I am so grateful for all of you visiting my page because all of you make it so much more exciting for me to research all of the things I do and to continue writing, knowing that someone cares and enjoys reading it. Thank you!

I am very grateful for the increasing energy in my body. It is allowing me to enjoy my life so much more.

I am very grateful for the swimming pool that our community has, it is such a wonderful way to exercise and relax. And I am off to use it now.

August 5, 2013

I am very grateful to all the readers of my blog. It has been one week and so far 126 people visited this website. I am very grateful for all you reading and hopefully getting something from this website you can use in your life.

I am grateful for all the wonderful foods out there, making it easy to make varied healthy meals. I have been loving adding hemp seed to a lot of meals I make to give me more protein which gives me energy throughout the day.

I am very grateful for our plants staying alive. This is the first time in my life where the plants I have bought have not died within a month J I should be thankful to my Husband, he is the one with green thumb, my thumbs are black, but I can water the plants every so often. We are having our orchids having a second bloom. They are so beautiful!

July 31, 2013.

A couple of things that made my list this morning.

I am grateful for the way my Mom has raised me, for my ability to think and make decisions for myself. I am grateful that she raised me to question everything I hear and not to accept things blindly. This questioning and trusting my own gut has literally saved my life when doctor after doctor were wrong in their diagnosis over the last couple of years, but I persisted and today I am healthy.

I am grateful for having clean and fresh water readily available to me. This morning in the shower I read a little note on the shower gel I use that talks about the poverty in Africa, and it made me realize how wonderful we have it and how grateful we should be for the things that in this country are easily accessible to us, things like clean water, food, safe shelter, those are the same things that some people in other countries only wish of having.

I am grateful for the suggestion that came from my Husband and few other people that I should write. I really enjoy researching and writing on the topics of health and happiness. It makes me very happy and the idea that someone else may benefit from the things I say and it may make their life happier makes me even happier.

July 30, 2013

I am very grateful for my wonderful family. Especially for my Mom and my Mother in law, both of these women are inspiring in different ways. My Mom's persistence and continual movement in life towards more knowledge and my Mom in law's kindness and care for her children.

I am very grateful for my friends, they love me the way I am.

I am also very grateful for all the greenery around me. I love trees and flowers, they make me smile even when I don't want to.

July 29, 2013.

I am so grateful for my Husband. He is a wonderful man, he is smart, handsome, kind, caring, supportive, fun, energetic and loving. He has a large and generous nature. And every day I am grateful for having met and falling in love with him.

I am grateful for my increasing health. I have been feeling better and better and more like myself years ago before my health issues began and it is a wonderful feeling to have energy and desire to do things.

I am grateful for our home. Sitting in our office and typing this I can hear the birds singing outside and a peaceful quiet warmth sipping through the open window as the sun slowly starting to move towards the ocean. It is very relaxing and happy setting.

I am getting back into the groove of things, enjoying the second trimester and starting to post more recipies and diary entries.

Here is the diary of my pregnancy, its been going really well and we are super excited about meeting our Baby. I am still getting all of the pictures from our European vacation onto my computer and will be continuously uploading them to the travel section.
