In a recent interview with the Irish Times, the young woman who has been the subject of so much media attention in recent weeks said that she had “no time” to have a baby.
Pregnant Pritish Lov, 25, said she was having trouble finding work and would be forced to work a part-time job as a domestic help.
She has struggled with anxiety since leaving the Army in November, when she was deployed to Afghanistan, and said she “lacks confidence”.
“I’ve been at work for almost six months and I haven’t had time to even have the time to have my baby.
It is a huge stress for me.
I’m just living a life of stress and anxiety.
I have no time.
I want to have the baby but I have to be honest, I don’t have the energy to do it,” she said.
She said she has struggled to find work and said her husband has also struggled.
“I think it’s really difficult for my husband because he has to do all the housework, I’m not getting paid for it,” Lov said.
“We are not going to have time to go to a job because of my job.
I am in the process of trying to find a full-time part-timer job, I have found a job but the hours are very difficult to get.
I think I’ll be a couple of years from having a child,” she added.
She added: “I don’t know how long I’ll have to wait for the next one.
I just don’t feel like having a baby, I just feel like I’ve been in a situation that I haven ‘lost’ my child.
I don of course love my husband, I love my children, but I don’ think I will be able to find anything for them.”
In her interview with The Irish Press, Lov said that her family had been supportive during the difficult time.
“I am very happy with my husband.
He has been so supportive throughout my whole time in the army and I think that’s because he wants me to be strong and proud.
I hope he will see the value in my commitment to him,” she told the newspaper.
Lov has had her baby twice, both in October and again in November.
She said her baby is due on February 22, 2019.
