How to Find a Job on Tinder article Tinder has been criticised by the ABC’s Today program, which aired an investigation on the dating app’s recruiting practices.
“What you are looking for are the things that are in the job application,” presenter Rebecca Ferguson told the women of the job seeking company.
“You are not looking for anything else.
It is not a search for somebody that you’ve met or a look for someone you’ve worked with.”
‘You don’t get a single job interview’ “You do not get a whole range of jobs,” the host said.
“And you don’t know who they are.”
Tinder has a strict policy against people applying to work for the company but that does not mean there are not plenty of jobs available on the platform.
“If you apply to the company, we have a job posting process for those who are in that position,” the company said in a statement to ABC News.
“We will not pay for any of the work done by a user to help our business and will not share the work with the employer.”
A spokesperson for Tinder said the company would not be commenting further.
‘You’re not looking to meet someone’ The ABC’s investigation into the dating site’s recruiting procedures found that many of the women who applied to be a DJ had already been offered jobs, but they did not disclose that on their applications.
“There are a lot of jobs out there but it’s not for you to be applying for,” one woman told the program.
“It’s not going to happen to you.
You’re not going for a job interview.
You don’t want to meet a DJ,” another woman told presenter Ferguson.
Tinder also rejected many of those applications, saying applicants were not “qualified to apply for jobs that require knowledge of music or the arts”.
“The reason that they don’t apply for these jobs is that we don’t think it’s the right thing to do for a company like this,” a spokesperson for the Tinder spokesperson told the ABC.
“As part of our commitment to diversity, we are looking into how we can increase our understanding of the experiences of diverse people in our community and how we help our diverse employees and team members to better represent them.”
The ABC asked the company about its hiring practices, but the company declined to comment.
“This is a company that is constantly seeking to improve their recruiting process to meet their hiring goals,” the spokesperson said.

The company has now promised to give more advice to its users on how to apply, but a spokesperson told News24 the company had a strict hiring policy that would prevent people from applying to a job that required knowledge of the arts or music.
“The way that we do this is we will not accept any jobs that do not meet the requirements,” the representative said.
Ms Ferguson said the women in her program “weren’t trying to look for work and they didn’t apply.
They didn’t know what the job requirements were.”
“And so they didn’s job interview,” she said.
The program also uncovered how Tinder is working to fix the recruitment process by making it harder for people to apply.
“Our company is working hard to make sure that we are offering a more transparent and inclusive process to our users,” a Tinder spokesperson said in an email.
